Giulietta & Romeo Half Marathon of last June 13, 2021 and Zero Wind Cangrande Half Marathon of November 20, 2021 are classified 2nd and 3rd in the special ranking of Italian half marathons by number of participants.

VERONA - A 2021 that marked confirmations and returns for road racing at a high technical level on the Veronese roads.
On June 13, 2021 the confirmation of the Giulietta & Romeo Half Marathon was also run in February 2020, and on November 20, 2021 the return of the Hoka Verona Marathon and the Zero Wind Cangrande Half Marathon after the skipped edition of last year.
Verona, which for the past twenty years, the number of editions of the marathon celebrated a month ago, which has a great tradition in the Italian and international running scene, has always been a much loved city by runners.
Coming to run in Verona also means doing excellent tourism, visiting the city and its artistic beauties for a few days with family or friends.
Authoritative newspapers such as Corriere dello Sport - Stadio, media partner of the events described above, as well as the specialized media Marathonworld.it have recently made the ranking of the most participated half marathons in Italy in this 2021.
The good news is that on the podium in second place is the Giulietta & Romeo Half Marathon with 2643 finisher participants and in third place the Zero Wind Cangrande Half Marathon with 2158.
World premiere, the Rome-Ostia, which has always been the half marathon with the most participants in Italy which this year in October, usually in March, counted 4432 participants at the end of the event.

The Giulietta & Romeo Half Marathon is an international event, included in the World Athletics calendar and classified as Gold Label Fidal, there are only four in Italy with this guarantee seal.
Zero Wind Cangrande Half Marathon is also international and classified Silver by Fidal.

TOURISM AND HEALTH - Stefano Stanzial takes advantage of this for a couple of clarifications:

The foot races that we organize often also have a charitable-solidarity purpose, they bring great tourism to the city, as calculated by the Chamber of Commerce in 2019 in the city in
occasion of the marathon and Cangrande Half Marathon there was an economic induced by the tourism sector of over 3 million euros.
Still with our competitions, which allow everyone to participate even with shorter and more accessible and popular distances, we always talk about well-being, physical mobility, health.
There is also an ecological aspect by promoting walking rather than vehicular movement ".
OLYMPIC GAMES
“We have a strong impact on the city, we organize international events with a strong media impact and beyond.
We often have live streaming or images on TV like in June with 40 minutes of delayed broadcast on Rai Sport, three blue athletes after the Giulietta & Romeo Half Marathon then went to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, I'm talking about Giovanna Epis, the winner Eyob Faniel and the third classified Yassine El Fathaoui.
It is also right to underline that the thousands of Italian and foreign athletes who run in Verona certainly speak well of it in their families, among their friends ”.
